A pocket-sized, 26-page booklet exploring Battersea’s wonderful collection of open spaces, including Battersea Park, the Thames Path, Clapham and Wandsworth Commons (both of which lie largely within the old borough and parish of Battersea) and a score of other hidden green gems.
Includes: a historical introduction, six individually-mapped walking trails taking in all Battersea’s open spaces, and some of its more interesting buildings; a detailed map of Battersea Park; a foldout map showing the whole of Battersea, with public transport links for the start and end points of each walk. The author is the Chair of the Society’s Open Spaces committee.
