Wandsworth Local Plan

The latest version of the Local Plan was published for consultation in January. It aims to set policies governing the development of Wandsworth over a period of 15 years from 2023. As well as setting out strategies for specific areas including Nine Elms, Clapham Junction and the area around York Road and Lombard Road, it covers issues such as housing, transport, industry and economic growth, climate change, open spaces, and green infrastructure, and social infrastructure. We have commented in detail on the Plan, and you can read our full response here.

The next stage in the process of approving the Plan is a review by planning inspectors appointed by the Secretary of State. A key part of the review will take place in public later this year, and we shall keep you posted on progress.
