Becoming a member of the Battersea Society is a great way to show your support for the Society and for Battersea.
As an active community organisation plugged into local networks, we keep our members well informed; our planning committee is a respected voice on planning matters; members learn a lot about local heritage; we help protect our open spaces and sponsor a varied programme of events.
Our informal pre-Christmas get-together, annual spring lunch and summer party are a few of the social highlights.

Get Involved
So you’d like to be more actively involved?
The first step is of course to join the Society! Once you’re a member we hope you will feel part of our community as well as the wider community of Battersea. We hope to see you at our talks and other events such as walks, film shows, and social events. The trustees especially enjoy the chance to meet new members at these events – if you’d like to talk to us, please find us, or email me before the event and I will look out for you.
Our committees welcome new members and you are encouraged to contact the chair of any committee that particularly interests you. Please follow us on social media and help us reach a larger audience. If you could help with delivering Battersea Matters four times a year, please contact me.
